Dr. Scandin is proud to announce, Dr. Luo invited Dr. Deb into her practice September 2023.
Dr. Deb has over 25 years combined medical experience in Acupuncture, Respiratory Therapy and Neuromuscular Massage.
Dr. Deb's journey started in CT at Sacred Heart University, School of respiratory Therapy. Upon graduation, she worked at Yale New Haven Hospitals' trauma center focusing on Respiratory Therapy, trauma and emergencies through out the hospital.
In 1994, her career moved to Sarasota, Florida where she studied massage therapy and completed advanced certifications in Neruomuscular therapy (NMT). This includes a certification in Gross Anatomy dissection, at University of South Florida. In 2004, Dr. Deb graduated with her Masters from East West College of Natural Medicine with her residency with Dr. Luo. She opened a private practice focusing on respiratory disorders, acute and chronic pain, gastrointestinal and general wellness.
Dr. Deb has dedicated her life to helping others, naturally.
She believes a persons "recipe" for optimal health starts with knowing ones own body.
One of Dr Deb's greatest passions is in helping others to live an optimal life with out pain and suffering.

Dr Deb first started being fascinated with health and wellness from her Dad. I guess you can say it is in her soul. Her Dad always gave her healthy eating tips " a baked potato is same amount of calories as an apple Deb, if you don't put all the topping on". He showed her how to eat healthier and in moderation. At the age of 10 he showed her how to lift weights and played catch in the backyard. Both Mom and Dad carted her and her 2 sibling around to all kinds of sport games and events. Dr. Deb loves volleyball and tennis, as well as watching mostly any sports live or on television.
Dr Deb and Dr Luo met at East West college of Oriental Medicine. It was then there friendship started. Dr. Deb has high respect and admirations for Dr Luo , especially as an ENT doctor and a successful business woman. Dr. Deb studied under Dr. Luo and after graduation they continued their relationship with fun dinners and referring patients.
Dr. Deb is honored to now be working side by side with Dr Luo in her clinic.
